Mukesh kumar singh is a post graduate in Dramatic arts with first class first and also qualified for lectureship of Drama in exam conducted by University Grant Commission. He has acted in and directed many plays for All India Radio, IPTA, Song and Drama division of India etc. He is an experienced director in Indian television who has directed shows off almost all the genre possible. In recent times he is directing mostly historical and mythological shows that includes Mahabharat for Star plus, the biggest show ever made on Indian television. It was branded as 100 cror tv show. Mr. Salim khan (writer of Sholay and many more super hit movies) was the script consultant and Oscar winner Bhanu athaiya was costume designer for the show which ran for 267 episodes with a great success in TRP charts. He has also directed Mere Sai, Chandra Nandini, Raziya Sultan, (opening voice over by Shahrukh khan), Hanuman, Bandhan, Meera, Ramayan, Bhagya vidhata, Dwarkadheesh and many more. Most of them were nominated for best shows and many of them have won too. He has written a movie tentatively titled " Ru-ba-Ru". In production, he started his first company Curry Western productions with his Swiss partner Kamal Musale, who is himself a well-known director of documentaries and short films in Europe. Together they organized shoot for many foreign crews in India for Films, documentaries and news reports. They produced two full length feature film in recent times. First, "Mumbai Bird" is an experimental movie shot with a very tiny crew and second, "The Hermit" is an English movie shot with an all European crew and three principal actors were from America, Canada and Switzerland. Both were directed by Kamal Musale and going to be released this year all over the world. As a fixer (a term for line producer in documentaries and news features), Mukesh k. singh was declared "Best fixer I have ever worked with" by famous Canadian journalist Celine Galipeau. Mukesh k. singh has also worked as Line producer for one of the first feature film ever made by UAE named "Eqaab" (Punishment). This movie was made in three languages simultaneously, In Arabic, Urdu and Persian. His ultimate vision is to tell great humanitarian stories that can charm classes and masses alike.
